I'm Belén Arregui, and these are 5 things you didn't know about me:
- My native language is Spanish, but I have been working in English for the past 4 years.
- I have won over 80 awards (national and international)
- I am a Creative Director (Sometimes art, sometimes writer). Throughout my career, it was very difficult to define myself, and that is why I decided sometimes to work as an art director and sometimes as a Copywriter. I prefer to call myself just creative because my strongest skill is conceptualizing.
- I have worked for entirely different markets (Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Dubai, New York, México, Europe, Global), and I hope they are not the only ones because I love traveling and learning about new cultures.
- And: I am the founder of "Círculo de Creativas Ecuador" a nationwide community of women working in advertising and creative industries — dedicated to making visible the talent of women, supporting inclusion, equity and leadership in a male-dominated industry, and providing mentorship, networking, training and opportunities to elevate creative voices across Ecuador.
